Popstars 2015
''Popstars 2015'' is the eleventh season of Popstars (Germany), in which young and aspiring female singer compete for a place in a new band. The show returns to its original broadcaster RTL II, which aired season 1 and 2 of the show. With the previous bands lacking success the production intends to return to the shows roots and focus more on the singing and look for different types. The show aired mondays on 8.15 pm. ==Changes==
This year the casting phase was skipped, instead of that the producers looked for talented girls all over Germany, including social media and YouTube. At the end 27 girls were invited to audition in front of the Jury. After a solo singing performance and group choreography the jury choose 18 girls to enter the Popstars-Academy.
"Popstars Academy"
Instead of the Workshop phase introduced in earlier seasons, this year the girls enter the Popstars Academy. During their 8-week stay at the Academy, the girls will work on their singing and dancing skills, work on songs for the future band, perform as groups in front of the judges, face eliminations and get ready for their future life as a band.
